10:30-12 breakfast potluck/assignment party for volunteers and parents
12-5 volunteer training
12-2 parent meeting for fundraising information if necessary
Hello Volunteers and Parents!
I hope you have all enjoyed that past few days of beautifully sunny weather!
This is just a reminder that there the Amigos assignment potluck this Sunday, February 12th, from 10:30-12:00 at the UW School of Social Work. We will begin the assignment reveal around 10:45, so please arrive on time! Parents are only expected to stay until noon. During this time, volunteers will discover in true Amigos fashion where and on which project they will be volunteering this summer. It is quite an exciting and fun morning!
>From 12:00pm - 5pm, we will be having our regular volunteer training. Volunteers, please bring a snack/lunch for later in the day. Also, bring warm coats/rain gear as one of our activities will be outdoors, rain or shine.
Just a friendly reminder, if you are unable to make a training because of something serious (illness, family emergency, etc.) YOU, the volunteer, must contact me PRIOR to the training in order for your absence to be excused.
Thank you and if you have any questions, please e-mail or call me: 206-930-5653.
See you Sunday!
